How does Hidden Catch review my document?

Paste text, upload a file (PDF, DOCX, TXT, or an image), or snap a photo. Hidden Catch reads the document with AI and returns a plain-English, severity-ranked risk report that quotes the clauses it flags as risky, explains them, and suggests what to do about them.

Is my document stored?

Not by us. Documents are processed ephemerally to generate your report and are never stored on our servers. The text is analyzed by OpenAI under API terms that do not use it to train models; we set the no-storage flag on every request, and OpenAI states that abuse-monitoring copies are kept for up to 30 days, longer where required by law or where needed to protect its services from harm. What types of documents can it review?

Contracts, leases and rental agreements, NDAs, employment agreements, privacy policies, terms of service, and most other legal or policy documents.

What languages are supported?

Hidden Catch reviews documents and returns reports in over 10 languages, including English, Spanish, Portuguese, and French. You can also receive the report in a language different from the source document.

How much does Hidden Catch cost?

Everything runs on credits. A typical text scan costs 1 credit; larger documents and scanned-image pages add work, so OCR and analysis are quoted additively. The optional follow-up tools each cost 1 credit: asking up to 10 questions about a report, comparing a re-scan against a previous report, or drafting a reply. The official source check costs 1 credit for a normal document. The complete quote is shown before any paid OCR or AI analysis starts. Credits come in one-time bundles, starting at $9 for 5 credits, and purchased credits never expire.

Why not just paste my contract into ChatGPT or Claude in a temporary chat?

You can, but you get a different tool. A general chatbot gives you a one-off answer that depends on how well you prompt it, and temporary chats may still be retained for safety review. Hidden Catch is purpose-built for document risk review: the accepted document is reviewed against a consistent risk checklist, flagged clauses are quoted verbatim, and severity is kept separate from the plain-language explanation. Your document is never stored on our servers, every AI request sets the no-storage flag, and OpenAI may still retain an abuse-monitoring copy for up to 30 days unless our production project is later verified for Zero Data Retention. Reports stay only in the current tab unless you download the PDF yourself.
